Why speak to a Dietitian?
If your child has asked for help with their dietary habits or weight, it can be helpful to involve a professional:
Children have unique nutritional needs as they are still growing. Dietitians ensure they will receive the right nutrients for growth whilst trying to manage their weight.
We will focus on behavioural change techniques specifically for families- it's about building a healthy relationship with food rather than "dieting".
Dietitians must use current scientific evidence to guide their advice. This protects your child from fad diets or unproven nutritional theories often found online.
Serious Nutrition, Sunny-side up
