Terms & Conditions and Cancellation Policy

1. Services Provided

sunnynutritiondietitian provides private dietetic consultations, including:

• Nutritional assessment
• Personalised dietary advice
• Follow-up consultations
• Virtual consultations via Zoom

All services are delivered based on professional standards of dietetic practice.

2. Booking and Appointments

• Appointments must be booked in advance via booking system
• You will receive confirmation of your appointment once booked.
• It is your responsibility to attend sessions on time.

For virtual appointments, you must ensure:

• A stable internet connection
• Access to Zoom
• A private, appropriate environment

3. Fees and Payment

• Fees will be clearly communicated prior to booking.
• Payment is taken in advance.
• Accepted payment methods: pay online

Failure to make payment may result in cancellation of your appointment.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

• At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged at 100% of the session fee.
• Missed appointments (“no-shows”) are non-refundable.

If you are late:

• The session will still end at the scheduled time
• The full fee will apply

Exceptions may be made in cases of genuine emergencies at the practitioner’s discretion.

5. Refund Policy

• Fees are non-refundable except in exceptional circumstances.
• If a session is cancelled you will be offered:
  • A full refund, or
  • An alternative appointment

6. Client Responsibilities

By engaging in services, you agree that:

• Information you provide is accurate and complete
• You will inform the practitioner of any relevant medical changes
• You understand that dietary advice does not replace medical treatment
• You will consult your GP where appropriate

7. Disclaimer

• Nutritional advice is based on current evidence and professional judgement
• Outcomes cannot be guaranteed
• Sunny Nutrition Dietitian is not liable for any adverse effects resulting from:
  • Failure to disclose relevant information
  • Misinterpretation or misuse of advice

8. Virtual Consultations (Zoom)

• Zoom is used for online consultations
• Sessions are not recorded unless explicitly agreed
• You are responsible for ensuring privacy on your side

Sunny Nutrition Dietitian is not responsible for:

• Technical issues outside of their control
• Interruptions due to internet connectivity

9. Confidentiality and Data Protection

Your personal data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR.

• A Privacy Policy and Consent Form are provided separately
• All information is kept confidential unless:
  • You provide consent to share, or
  • Disclosure is required by law

10. Safeguarding and Duty of Care

In rare circumstances where there is concern about your safety or the safety of others, we may need to share information with appropriate authorities in line with professional obligations.

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the service, please contact:

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available upon request or on our website.

By booking and attending an appointment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
